  • 3/4 cup (160 grams) cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup (30 grams) grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) pasta cooking water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Reserve about 1 cup of starchy pasta cooking water before draining.
  3. In a skillet over low heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cream cheese and reserved pasta water, mixing until creamy.
  5. Add parmesan cheese and combine until smooth.
  6. Toss drained pasta into the skillet, mixing well to coat with sauce; adjust consistency with extra pasta water if needed.
