Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of thick-cut bread
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional: Shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the slices of bread inside.
  2. Use the bottom of a glass to press an indent into the center of each slice.
  3. Crack an egg into each indent, allowing some egg white to spill over if necessary. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook in the air fryer at 340°F (170°C) for 8 minutes. Add cheese during the last minute if desired.
  5. Carefully remove using a spatula and serve immediately.
