- 2 tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (divided)
- Green onion (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, sesame oil, ground ginger, soy sauce, garlic powder, rice vinegar, and half of the sesame seeds to create the marinade.
- Coat the tuna steaks with half of the marinade and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes. Reserve the remaining marinade.
- Remove tuna from the marinade and coat with sesame seeds. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, drizzling with reserved marinade while grilling.
- Serve immediately topped with sliced green onions and extra sesame seeds.
