Ingredients

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup white wine or low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Let salmon rest at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar, white wine (or broth), honey, Dijon mustard, rosemary, and minced garlic. Bring to boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to medium-low and simmer until thickened (about 10–15 minutes). Strain into a bowl.
  3. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add salmon fillets and sear for 3–4 minutes until browned; flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes until flaky.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
