  • ¼ teaspoon coarse ground pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup French dressing
  • 2 tablespoons sweet relish
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 8 sesame seed hamburger buns
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 12 hamburger pickle chips
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • Additional secret sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add onions, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce; cook until beef is fully browned (about 3-4 more minutes).
  3. Stir in chopped pickles for an additional minute.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all secret sauce ingredients until smooth.
  5. Combine 1 cup of the secret sauce with the beef mixture; reserve any remaining sauce.
  6. Assemble sandwiches with buns, lettuce, cheese slices, beef mixture, pickles, and additional sauce as desired.
