  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1½ cups uncooked white rice
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 12 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons crispy toasted breadcrumbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken strips with salt, lemon pepper, and garlic powder. Sauté in olive oil over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and cover to keep warm.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until fragrant, then add white wine and reduce by half.
  3. Stir in rice, broth, and remaining salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
  4. Mix in Parmesan cheese, return chicken to skillet, and drizzle with reserved garlic butter sauce. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
