  • 1 head of cabbage (about 8 cups), thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • ½ cup coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or preferred cooking oil)
  • ½ cup shredded carrot
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together sauce ingredients until combined.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sauté chopped onions for about 5 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add garlic and ginger; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in ground beef and cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
  6. Add cabbage and carrots; pour in the prepared sauce and stir-fry until cabbage wilts (approximately 5 minutes).
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
