  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 12 maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. For the brownie layer: Mix melted butter, sugars, and eggs in a bowl; add vanilla. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until combined; pour into a greased springform pan.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes; cool completely.
  4. For the cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar and mix well. Incorporate eggs one at a time followed by vanilla and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Pour cheesecake mixture over cooled brownie base.
