Instructions

  2. Sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder in a medium bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together oil, buttermilk, eggs, food colorings, vinegar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; stir until well combined and evenly colored.
  5. Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
