  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (thawed)
  • 6 oz strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 lb strawberries (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, dissolve strawberry Jello in boiling water and let it cool.
  3. Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and sugar; press into a greased baking pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes; allow to cool completely.
  5. Blend cream cheese with sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping.
  6. Spread the cream mixture over the cooled crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Stir sliced strawberries into the cooled Jello; pour over the cream layer.
  8. Chill for at least 2-3 hours until set before serving.
