  • 1 bell pepper (half red, half green), sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (plus more for glaze)
  • Garlic powder and ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Slice steak and vegetables; set aside.
  2. Marinate steak in soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate.
  3. Whisk together glaze ingredients: soy sauce, cornstarch, and sugar; set aside.
  4. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook onion and bell pepper until browned; remove from skillet.
  5. In the same skillet, add marinated steak and cook until browned.
  6. Return vegetables to the skillet, pour in the glaze, stir until thickened.
