  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder

  • 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 oz pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup masa harina (for thickening)

Instructions

  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, oregano, and cayenne pepper. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Mix masa harina with water in a small bowl; add to the chili to thicken.
  5. Stir in kidney beans and pinto beans; let simmer for an additional 10 minutes before serving.
