Ingredients
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 70 g butter (room temperature)
- 210 g granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 150 g full-fat sour cream (room temperature)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1½ tsp vanilla extract
- For Buttercream: 200 g butter, 330 g powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla paste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
- Mix in half of the dry ingredients followed by sour cream, oil, and vanilla; then add remaining dry ingredients.
- Fill cupcake liners evenly and bake for 20-22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and prepare buttercream by mixing butter until smooth; add powdered sugar and milk gradually until fluffy.
